The Cannon Mini – Troll Manual Downrigger is a specialized manual fishing downrigger, a must – have tool for trolling. It allows you to precisely control the depth of your fishing lures or bait as your boat moves, helping you target fish like salmon, lake trout, or walleye that swim at specific depths.

Constructed with high – quality materials, the primary structure is made of cast iron or heavy – duty metal, powder – coated black for excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The crank and knobs feature a combination of black plastic with textured grips for ergonomic handling and metal for the central knob on the spool and clamping bolts. The dial and scale are made of metal, with a white printed face and a black numbered scale for clear depth markings. The cable is a thin, silver – toned stainless – steel wire, offering great tension and water resistance.

In terms of color and design, black is the primary color with a smooth, matte finish. It has a red and gold emblem on the arm, likely the brand logo. The dial has a white face with black numbers from 1 to 15, representing depth in feet. The handle on the crank is black, textured plastic for a firm grip, and there are silver cable, a metal clip for attaching weights, and a black, ridged crank handle.

The size of this downrigger is well – suited for small – to – medium boats. The boom arm is approximately 24 – 30 inches long from the clamp base to the end of the hook, and the base is compact, about 6 – 8 inches wide, designed to clamp to a boat railing or transom.

It comes with several key features for easy and efficient use. The clamp base is a black metal with adjustment knobs to securely fasten the downrigger to your boat. The crank mechanism on the right side has a black, ridged plastic handle to rotate the spool for lowering or raising the weight. The left – side depth dial with numbered markings from 5 to 15 feet helps you set the target depth precisely. The metal spool on the right side has a central knob for tension adjustment and locking, and the silver cable connects to the weight clip on the left side, ensuring your bait stays at the set depth.
